Why do we need to communicate ?

Why do we need to communicate ?

  • Keep our community informed about our activities. The community corresponds to international teams, partners, the family of team members, the school, etc.
  • Promote our partners, make them known, allow them to communicate in turn on the partnership.
  • Maintain links with other FRC teams. By maintaining our newsfeed, they know that the team exists and they will be better able to ask us for help or help. Team Exploading Bacon contacted us via Instagram in 2018 so that we could translate documents into French for them (it was a game to understand certain physical laws). We did it, and in 2019 they received the Chairman’s Award (the most prestigious award in the competition), in part thanks to the help of teams like ours. Another example: Evolution (team 2626) lent us a cart for our robot every year, through Facebook.
  • Promote the competition and its values in the region and more widely in Europe. Ensuring the development of FIRST® in our region is highly valued by the competition, so that the most prestigious awards are awarded for this (Chairman’s award and Engineering inspiration award). We are (with the T-Frogs, 2nd French team) the showcase of the FRC in France, hence the importance of communication.
  • The actions we take to win awards are mainly communicated through our social networks and our website, to influence the judges who start to observe the teams before the competition.
